What these terms cover
These terms apply to website design, development, SEO and audit work carried out by Monarch Infotech, based in Indirapuram, Uttar Pradesh, India. Where a written quote or proposal says something different, the quote is what applies.
The consultation is free
The first 30-minute consultation costs nothing and commits you to nothing. There is no obligation to buy anything afterwards, and you will not be chased.
Quotes and pricing
Prices shown on the pricing page are starting prices. The written quote you receive after the consultation is the actual price for your project, and that is the figure that applies. It does not change unless you ask for something that was not in the quote, and then you will be told the cost before any extra work starts.
Payment
Work is normally paid half at the start and half on delivery. For staged engagements, each stage is quoted and paid separately, so you are only ever committed to the stage you have agreed to.
If you do not approve the design direction
If you do not approve the design direction, you do not continue and you pay nothing further. That is the guarantee, and it is deliberately narrow so that it can be honoured every time rather than argued about.
What you own
You own your domain, your hosting account and your website admin access from day one, registered in your name, not mine. On final payment the website and its content are yours outright. You are never locked in, and you never need my permission to move elsewhere or to hire someone else.
What I need from you
Projects need content, feedback and access at the times agreed. Text, images, logos, and answers to questions. The timeline assumes those arrive when expected, because most delays in website projects come from waiting on them.
Timelines
You get a written timeline before work starts. It is an honest estimate rather than a guarantee. If material or approvals arrive late, the delivery date moves by roughly the same amount, and you will be told when that happens rather than discovering it at the end.
Support after launch
Every build includes 45 to 60 days of support after launch. That covers fixing anything that is not working as it was built to work. It does not cover new pages, new features or new content, which are quoted separately.
Things bought from other companies
Domain registration, hosting, premium plugin licences and payment gateway accounts are bought from those companies, in your name, and their costs and their terms are theirs. I will help you set them up and tell you honestly what you do and do not need.
What cannot be promised
No honest person can guarantee search rankings, traffic or revenue, because none of those are within any developer control. What is guaranteed is that the work described in your quote is done properly, that you can verify it, and that you are told the truth about what is realistic.
Stopping work
You can stop at the end of any stage. Work already completed is payable, work not yet started is not. Anything already paid for and finished is handed over to you.
Responsibility
The work is carried out with reasonable skill and care. Monarch Infotech is not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, and liability is limited to the amount paid for the work in question.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction.
